The Barns is the childhood home of the Lynch Family. Ronan Lynch and his two brothers, Declan Lynch and Matthew Lynch lived there with their mother Aurora Lynch and father Niall Lynch until Niall was murdered by The Gray Man when Ronan was 8. Upon the request of Niall Lynch's last will and testament, the Barn was to be inherited by Ronan, and all three Lynch brothers were banished from the estate, where it remained empty for the next 10 years, save for the nurses that came to take care of Aurora. Almost the entirety of the Barns was dreamed into being by Niall Lynch.
The Barns are now inhabited by Ronan Lynch and his dreamed companion Opal (Orphan Girl), after Ronan dreamed a different version of his father's will allowing him to live on the Barn's grounds.
