The Raven Cycle was a potential television series based on the series of the same name. The TV adaptation was announced on April 10, 2017. Catherine Hardwicke was set to direct and produce, and Andrew Miller was set to act as the showrunner.[1] The adaptation was set to air on Syfy, produced by Universal Cable Productions. Michael London of Groundswell Productions would executive produce, and Stiefvater would serve as co-executive producer. Hardwicke was also attached to direct the pilot.[2]
On Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 Maggie posted an image of the cover of the pilot episode's script on her Twitter page. And it was officially confirmed, the pilot episode was written by the series author.[3]
In May 2020, Maggie announced that the development of the series had stopped. Although the project didn't work out, she said that there was still a chance another showrunner picked up the project in the future.[4]
